CTG successfully completed the construction management of Eagle Nest Elementary School, a $9.5 million, 96,000 sq. ft. two-story educational facility in Orlando, Florida. Finished in July 2003 for Orange County Public Schools, the project showcased CTG’s expertise in estimating, value engineering, procurement, and construction contracting. The building, designed by Schenkel Shultz, features tilt-up construction wall panels, a standing seam metal roof, and structural steel components.
CTG implemented innovative techniques like “perimeter casting,” reducing the project timeline by approximately 25 days. The school’s comprehensive learning environment includes teaching labs, academic support areas, offices, a library/media center, and color-coordinated classroom quadrants for enhanced student orientation. This project exemplifies CTG’s proficiency in managing complex educational facility construction, delivering high-quality results efficiently and within budget.
