Project overview
Construct Two Group successfully completed the FAMU Student Housing project, a significant development aimed at enhancing Florida A&M University’s campus facilities. This state-of-the-art student housing complex was designed to meet the growing demands of the university’s enrollment and provide students with a modern, comfortable living environment conducive to academic success and personal growth.
Implementation process
The project encompassed the construction of two four-story, H-shaped residence buildings, each featuring an east and west wing. This innovative design maximizes space efficiency while creating a sense of community among residents. The complex includes a variety of amenities tailored to student needs:
- Double-occupancy bedrooms with shared bathrooms
- Study lounges and collaboration spaces
- Meeting rooms
- Laundry facilities
- Vending areas
- Common student lounges
- Recreation/TV/computer rooms
- Administrative offices
In addition to the living spaces, the project included the development of associated site utilities and parking infrastructure, ensuring a fully functional and self-contained student housing complex.
